Licuala mattanensis var. paucisecta 'Mapu' (EXACT plant)

Also referred to as 'Paradise Palm', this compact understory species from Borneo is among the most desired palm species in the world. Its leaves have a mottled pattern of varying light and dark areas, and mature leaves are divided. 
Needs a shady spot and temperatures within the range of 25-30ºC most of the time. Substrate should be acidic and well draining. It's a compact species that grows slowly and does well in containers as long as its conditions are met. 
This is a slow-growing species, which makes 3-4 new leaves per year.
