A compact species from India, China, Nepal, Sri Lanka. Grows at elevations 700 to 2000m.
Yellow flowers are small, 1 to 2cm across and with a blue labellum.
Vandas are best grown bare-root and watered daily. They prefer tropical conditions with high humidity and temperatures within 20-35ºC.
